Which is the most accurate hand gun you own?

Targets?

Please post targets with your pistol pics!

Distance and ammo type are helpful.

It is easy to put 10 rounds through one hole, as long as the target supports it.

Personally, I am still searching for the accuracy, of course it just may be my lack of target skills...

My CZ SP-01 Phantom is getting better each time I shoot it. Yes, I will post my next target.

Rimfire auto- either one of these three - a Hamden 107 HS trophy, a Hamden 107 Victor, or my 1959 smith 41. all will shoot under an inch at 25 yards with iron sights.

Rimfire revolver - a prewar k-22 6", about an inch at 25 yards.

Centerfire revolver - 1955 smith k-38 masterpiece, or a smith model 19 6", or a 686 6". all can shoot close to an inch at 25 yards.

Centerfire auto - Wilson combat 1911, closely followed by a 80 series colt 1911 gold cup

Centerfire - other - TC encore with a 6mm TCU barrel - .5 " at 100 yards on a regular basis.

At close range, it's probably my Ruger MkIII bull barrel .22LR, but as range increases, I'd bet on my S&W 686P 6". The Hi-Power isn't far behind either at combat range.

Since my Contender is not being considered, then my Dan Wesson 15-2 wins hands down. No target pic to post now, though I have some great one's somewhere.

As far as autos go, my nickel combat commander gets the nod.

Pretty standard stuff...
Rimfire: S&W Model 41
Centerfire: S&W Model 52 Master
.45 (slow): S&W 625 Model of 1989
.45 (rapid): Colt's Gold Cup Nat'l Match

Custom SDM 1911, orignally a 10mm, but also has a fitted Super .38 slide/barrel, and shoots about 1" groups at 25 yards. Along with it, a stock Ruger Security Six from 1978, Farrant grips, also shoots about 1" at 25 yards. These are both with two hands over bags, otherwise unsupported, and with iron sights. About all I could ask for in the way of field accuracy.

If I was "tasked" to use a handgun to put a bullet (or number of bullets) into a target clear out to 100 yards (a long way for a handgun but there is one I have that can do it) with the most accuracy it is easily easily easily the SW 41.

Furthermore, if anyone else chooses differently then he or she hasn't tried a 41 yet.

Pythagorean, you might have missed what some and myself have posted. There are centerfires out there that will shoot groups similar to yours, but at 75 feet (25 yards). The .22 rimfire ammo box next to your groups will cover the 25 yard group from my Ruger Security Six, as shown with the gun. Four shots of six are cutting each other. The other two were my fault, but still very close. Not that the S&W 41 isn't a very precision piece, but there are others.

I've got a few real hummers. First is a Colt Series 80 Government 45 that was customized by Wilson Combat. The trigger pull is a bit light for a defensive gun, but it's just the ticket for targets. If anyone tells you that you can't get a good trigger on a Series 80, it's because they don't know how to do it. Wilson does.

I also have a couple of S&W Model 14s in 38 Special, one 6" and one 8 3/8" that put them all in tiny groups as well. S&W built a really nice revolver in those days.

My CZ 75 B SA. It feels like an exstension of my arm. I can not say enough good things about this pistol.

A close second is my Ruger MKIII.

I just put some new grips on the GP100 and I'm hoping to get better with this guy. It already feels a ton better in the hand. I hated the Hogue "humpback" finger groove grips it came with.

Fun thread. Similar to mine a while back, feel free to bring it back to life.

Going by what I 've read in print and my little experience at the shooting ranges, all my guns are more accurate than me.

Hard to say....

Either my Sig P220, HK USP, Blackhawk, Super Redhawk, Gold Cup, Briley 1911 or Browning Challenger.

I had a Colt Gold Cup long ago that was incredibly accurate. I was forced to sell it and still miss that gun. Now my most accurate pistol is a CZ-85C. It probably would equal the Gold Cup if I used premium ammo, but it shoots so well with the cheapest 9mm that I haven't tried any good stuff. I also have the Kadet 22LR adapter for it, and it shoots very well also.
