For SD it's HST and Gold Dot, but I do have some old Remington +P+ JHP that's hotter than any other 9mm I can find.

For plinking I'm not too picky.
 
I don't shoot very much factory ammo in rifle or pistol. As far a factory performance they are all good. I choose Win 1st & Fed 2nd because of the brass.
Remington brass has less copper content and gets brittle faster. I do notice that
Win white box pistol ammo seems to be a lower grade brass than their premium
lines. Haven't loaded any yet to make a informed statement.
