Where do you shoot Handguns more often

Most often (and my favorite spot) is a public sand pit up at my father-in-laws. Very low use type of thing that supports about 1 group at a time. No hurry or time limits, you can set up whatever you want for targets (just pick up your mess after wards). We keep a pallet stashed off to the side to put our targets on. You know if it's open since you can hear if someone is up there shooting. I also shoot at the local indoor range (especially in winter and for leagues) and am working on setting up my own range on land I bought up north. .22 only though as it's 10 acres but I do have neighbors (should have bought 40 with no neighbors - hehe).

Old grump ... nice setup you have there! Yea, that's what I want.

I do most of my shooting at a nice outdoor range about 30 minutes from home, but I also do a little in a large clearing behind my in-law's house.

I shoot at a nearby outdoor range where you have to be a member ... I really dislike shooting indoors so haven't done it since I took a class at an indoor range in Houston five years ago ... less noise, better air quality ...

Member of our local indoor range (yearly dues) it is a public range however and people can come and pay per trip. I go there at least once a week.
