I favor semi-autos over revolver, but find both fun.
I don't reload, so semi-auto 9mm sees the most range time.
I don't reload, so .45acp is about as cheap as .38 or .357 for me.
I dislike cleaning the 6 chambers and the cylinder face every range trip, in addition to the barrel.
I shoot semi-auto's better, unless i am only shooting the revolver in SA mode.
I like semi-autos for SD in town as there is more ammo capacity, they fit under my clothes better and I am slightly more accurate.
I like .357 or .44 revolvers for camping/backpacking as I am not likely to have 3 guys assaulting the home out there and the extra power will give me an edge over a mountain lion or black bear, compared to a 9mm or even a .45acp semi-auto.
I do like the looks of revolvers, but prefer the classic looks of all steel semi-autos [1911s, Browning Hi Powers, P38s, etc] with wooden grips.
