Iver Johnson .22 ppk. clone. 50% failure to fire and made out of the same metal as my Mom's Pot Roast pan.
But someone mentioned RG. OMG I had not thought about one of those pieces of crap in thirty years! When I got out of college I rented a house with one of my best friends, we have known each other since second grade. We were into buying the cheapest stuff we could, ie; Iron City Beer. Sorry, I digress. Anyway I had just bought an H&R .22 sentinal for about sixty bucks, he countered with this POS revolver, an RG for about $60. It was the cheapest feeling thing I had ever picked up. My Mattel cap gun felt more substantial. But I must admit when we shot it at my farm and at the range it did fire. To this day it still sits on his nightstand.
Nonetheless, the cheapest piece of crap gun of anykind I have ever seen.

I really wanted to like my keltec p11, but it kept jamming up on me. And I love the feel of the bersa, but its the same problem there too.

Worst? Rossi

My first snub-nosed .38 was a stainless steel Rossi bought in 1989. After firing 10 shots at the range, the cylinder stopped turning. Apparently when it got hot, the action bound up until it cooled off.

:eek:What? no Hight Point on the poll? Of all the makes on the poll (that I know about) are diamonds in the ruff compared to the High Point :barf:

HI-Point .45 here. felt like a brick, nothing ergonomic about it at all. every once in a while youd get 2 or 3 shot per trigger pull. it was a dandy. didnt bother repairing it. it just wasnt worth it.

Kel Tec

I shot a PT3AT once and changed my mind about buying a Kel Tec. The best thing about the deal was that I got to shoot one before I bought the junk.

well,I didn'tkeep count, but it seems like jennings has the most written comments.
Alas, I voted other, but for my cute little Davis 22 mag derringer.

I totally understand that there a folks who dont like glock because its a ploymore, has no soul, ugly, and other reasons often stated. Majority of this crowd is the old time 1911 guys. Thats just fine. But for them to say its worst is a bit childish, and if I am wrong, please correct me.
You are not wrong, my friend. I am an old time 1911 guy, but I love Glocks. Yup, Glocks are ugly, both of mine are. But as far as I'm concerned, they are one of the better brands out there today.

Actually, I didn't want to like Glocks, and though I never bashed them, I must say I held off from purchasing for a long time. But after that G26 finally replaced the PT-111 years ago, I was kicking myself. Anybody that says they're the worst is just kidding themselves. But they also look rather silly.

Skyy (or is it SCCY?) CPX-1

The owner couldn't get it to feed before he handed to me to try. The trigger was very heavy and after my first shot, it failed to fire 2 subsequent shots. A small spring popped from somewhere so I quickly handed it back to the owner. Apparently it was a new gun and had less than 50 rounds through it.

According to this HK is pretty good bet.

42 folks so far voted for Glock to be their worst handgun. I think they should step and speak for their vote since it just does not make sense. Glock 19 is my only semi auto that never failed. HK, and all other did to ceratin extent.

Taurus PT145 Pro
bought it because it was tiny, sold it because after 150 rounds, the odds of firing a round when you pulled the trigger was maybe 1 in 3

I don't believe that people have had such bad experiences with Glock that it's just behind Taurus in the poll

It seems people are just voting against Glock because it's a brand that just gets a bad rap - otherwise Glocks are very reliable - ugly but reliable.

Security Industries of America 38 snub

Massad Ayoob praised these in American Handgunner and they were made in New Jersey, where I still live, alas.
1. The rifling is practically straight-looks like 1:66 rate of twist. Wadcutters keyhole at 20 yards.
2. Doesn't lock up securely
3. The firing pin retaining ring broke.
I bought it as a collectible, not to depend on so NBD I suppose.
