New forum rule:

It's pure baiting! youre inciting my jealousy on purpose!

I've got three that are especially accurate:

S&W Model 46: This is the plain finish version of a Model 41, the "Highway Patrolman" of target 22s. The matte finish doesn't inhibit the accuracy.

S&W Model 14: This gun is amazingly accurate with 38 SPL wadcutters.

Colt 1911 Series 80: A trip to Wilson Combat turned this into a real target pistol. If anyone ever tells you that a Series 80 can't have a good trigger pull, don't believe it.

My Para SSP Limited will do 1" groups off a rest at 25 yrds. I wish I was half that good off hand.

I don't exactly own any bad ass custom pistols mine are all plastic. But I would have to say my xdm45 is the most accurate. 5 inch groups at 15 yards again I know not that great but I'm learning and it improves with every trip

My .45 Beretta Cougar. It's the one I'm most accurate with & my carry pistol. This was my HCP range target with 48 rounds through it. As soon as I was done shooting, the range master called a cease fire on the range to pull my target & take pics. Needless to say I passed.

All of my revolvers are much more accurate than I am, even my Taurus. But my favorite is my 6" M-27, even I can shoot well with it.

Biakal IZH35M .22lr target pistol. I have two of them.

"Tack driver" pistols are in the eye of the owner. A tack driver to someone interested in self defence is a pistol that will shoot 2 inch groups at 7 yards. A tack driver to a standard pistol or conventional pistol competitive shooter will shoot 2 inch groups at 50 yards.

Mine's a no-dash Model 67. I just got a Model 18-2 but haven't yet shot it so I don't know yet if there's a contender in the fold. It's my first S&W .22!

I do have an H&R 676 convertible and it is killer with magnums but I just haven't shot it enough to really, really achieve its potential. Y'see, I kinda got hung up on .38 SPL K-frames a while back....

I guess if revolvers are considered pistols then mine is a S&W Model 14-8. I say that because some folks dont consider the revolver a pistol.
