What's your favorite all steel semi auto pistols?

I have a number of High Standards and the newer ones are exceptionally accurate. This one will group under 1" @ 50 yards. All steel and it is just pure pleasure to shoot.

I have an all steel STI Ranger II 45ACP 1911 that I really like. Very accurate and after an extractor tuning very reliable. :D

1911 - Gosh it is hard to argue with 105 years of success.

Honestly, polymers have well outpaced the old work horse but when I pick one up and shoot it I get this feeling of confidence that it could solve most any problems a hand gun could solve.

That's like asking which one of my kids is the favorite.
My all steel guns are my favorites. 3 1911's, FN/BHP, Hi Standard .22, Sig P232, & Radom 9mm.

SIG-Sauer P226 SL stainless or P226 LDC stainless are not that bad :D.
Even a Pardini GT9-1 stainless or a Delta AR Top Gun would be nice...

I've got a couple of Sig P226s that are very good pistols and my son has a Tangfolio that's a sweet shooter. I've also had the opportunity to shoot a couple of CZs and they were very nice. BUT, at the end of the day I still prefer a 1911. Having carried and competed with 1911/2011 pistols for years it's hard for anything else to feel as natural in my hand. And then there's the 1911 trigger. For me nothing else is comparable.

My all time favorite is a 1911.....until I tried a CZ 75. I have a CZ 75 SAO that I just loved to shoot. Looking at getting a CZ Tactical Sport next.

jdscholer said it first: actual Makarovs, which were only manufactured in Russia, "East Germany" (DDR), Bulgaria and The PRChina.

Sidenote: All other handguns chambered in 9x18 are Not Makarovs.
