Whats your biggest/loudest/most powerful rifle?

In order from largest to smallest:

M1 Garand = 30-06 (7.62x63)

Mosin Nagant 91/30 = 7.62x54R

Springfield M1A Scout EBR = .308 (7.62x51)

Come to think of it I'm not actually sure which is the loudest though. I assume the 91/30 just cause its the oldest design.

A 4 bore (bore is the same as gage in this case, meaning how may round balls of the diameter of the bore (or gage) it takes to make a pound. A 4 bore would be 4 balls to a pound, a 12 bore (12 gage) takes 12 round balls to make a pound.
I've held a 4 bore cartridge in my hand. Holding a metallic cartridge considerably bigger than a 12 ga shotshell made my shoulder ache.:D

I've read about Frederick Courtney Selous' exploits with the 4 bores many times. Never fails to make me grin, especially the one about his gun-bearer fully re-loading it instead of just replacing the misfired cap. Those old white hunters had some guts.

Now, 2 bores on the other hand.......

Or maybe pull both triggers on my double .58 with hunting charges. The boom factor is cool, but I suspect it's hard on the stock wrist.

HUH? WHAT'S THAT? WADDYA SAY?!?

To me my loudest gun seems to be the 4 5/8" Ruger Blackhawk .41 mag.

Most powerful, 30-40 AI, I guess. Maybe my .50 muzzleloader with maxi balls and too much black powder.

The loudest thing I have is a Fender Twin Reverb guitar amplifier. It's pretty powerful as well.

My new hex mosin nagant. 7.62x54r baby! Laugh, but the most powerful rifle I've fired (and own) is 30 carbine. I have and do fire some mean 12 gauge rifled slugs many times through my 590-a1 shotgun smoothbore though and shoot small framed .357 revolvers regularly. I have been lacking in the serious caliber center fire rifle area. So I'm excited. Just got it cosmoline free.

Loudest is probably my .270WSM, hardest kicking would be my son's Ruger Model 77 Hawkeye All Weather in .338 Federal. Surprising how much it pushes back with that little .308 case when pushing a 200 gr bullet over 2600 fps.

Right now it's a Steyr M95 in 8x56R. Once my project is done it will be a Steyr M95 in 50 Alaskan

Need to get the barrel profiled (ya' think?) since that 1" thickness ain't needed w/ a <40,000CUP cartridge. +500gr @ 2000fps will be a shoulderful, though :D. Gonna make a recoil-capable stock for it, too.

The Loudest I have is a sport version of a .303 Enfield, the LOUDEST I've ever fired is my Fil's .577 Nitro Express double and a M2 "Ma Deuce"

Most powerful/loudest would be either of my 8mm Mausers and the hardest kicking is my K98 sporter, which is very light. No big deal though, as a slip on recoil pad tames it with ease.

My "most powerful" is probably my Kimber 84 in .325. My loudest and maybe most powerful (I think range is dependent between this and the .325) is my Winchester 94 Timber Carbine in .450 Marlin.
