Whats the oldest milsurp in your collection?

Amoskeag Special Model of 1861, a treasured family relic.

oldest

A Trapdoor Carbine - about 1873-1875. Not sure.
Or...a Mk.IV Martini-Henry 577-450 from about the same period, maybe 1877.

I don't have that many, only seven but I would say my k31 is the best made and shoots the best. My No4MkII Enfield would be best in overall condition.

The 1942 LE #4/1.

Your rifle is a foxy babe, and the collection of additional parts makes a nice photo.
A guy near here named Phil who has a very small gun shop might still be asking about $699 for a near-mint Longbranch from the late 40's or 50's, which looks (from what I can see) exactly like yours.

I have a 1906 Obendorf Gew98 barreled action the previous owner had installed a Williams receiver sight on... The barrel has the "S" marking to identify it as the "new" .323 bore.

So the oldest pristine milsurp is a 1934 m28/30 Finn.
