What were your best buy's?

Blued Model 19 S&W police trade in. Cosmetically rough, mechanically perfect. Spent two hours cleaning up the finish, now it looks about 95%. Smooth action, groups about 2½ inches at 50yds. $99.00 in 1995. Wish I could find a dozen more.
 
Here's the best deals i've ever gotten:
K9 wilson combat scattergun 1187 LN $400.00
Glock 19 with 3 high caps $300.00 was still gonna get a good deal at $350 if i didn't haggle the guy!
Mossberg bullpup $150. Guy thought all Mossy's were only worth 200 or less used.
Colt Gold Cup Commander $400 recently. The guy's son committed suicide so the cops told him to sell off his guns.
 
Colt New Service Army 1917 45 ACP Revolver.
Bought it while in college, say 1990 or so)
Reblued in the 50's $275 (I suspect its a DCM gun)

And it still shoots well.

Bought best deals: An Efert Artillery 1917 "Luger", with leather gear and snail drum magazine, a DWM 1917 4" "Luger" with hoslter and spare magazine and a Colt Official Police .38 revolver with 50 rounds of ammo all for the wonderful price of $450.00.

Best trade deal: out:: one matching broomhandle with wooden holster (no iron) - in:: 1 Argentine M27 1911A1 (like new), 1 Balstina Molina (like new) and 1 English Contract Colt 1911.

Then there was the Liberator "flare projector", the 1811 Marlin .45-70 - first year production, well that is enough to mention.
