What was your first handgun?

After reading playboypenguins topic "I am so sick of it", I'm wondering what was everyones first handgun? I started out with a Beretta 92FS that I bought used right after I turned 21. I don't have any pictures of the Beretta, but they would be welcome too!!!

Ruger Blackhawk in 45LC. Was my brothers and the first real gun I really had interest in. Still here some 16 yrs later.

Russian Mak. Super reliable, very accurate, cheap to feed...but felt like a brick on my hip! I sold it to finance the purchase of a west german SIG P220 .45 and haven't looked back.

Grew up shooting my dad's 357 Blackhawk and Bearcat.

First pistol I bought was a Super Blackhawk.

Beretta 1934 Puma 380 in 1964.
Didn't have the extra $15 for a PPK.
That's right...a GERMAN PPK.
I paid $56 for the Beretta and still have the receipt.

Colt Trooper MK III with 6" barrel. Bought it in er, uhm, let's just say a long time ago. I still have it and occasionally shoot it. Never sell your first gun.

Smith & Wesson Model 19 "Combat Magnun". 4" barrel, blue, target grips, hammer and trigger, .357 Magnum (of course).

Traded it off for a Colt GM 1911.

A nickel plated Colt Police Positive in .38 Special I got when I was 12.

First one I bought myself was a Star Model P in .45acp when I was 14. Paid for it with money from odd jobs, $70.

My first Colt, a Commander, was a few years later, paid $179 NIB for it.

Its been downhill ever since, and the slope has just gotten steeper and slipperier. :D

Well used convertible Single Six with a nice heavy Cowboy style holster from a fellow soldier in 1973 for $60. Shot about a million more rounds through it since then, some as recently as last week.

A fond memory.

A NIB 4" S&W Model 13 in nickle. I think I paid like - under $300 back in the middle 70s. I installed the "target" trigger and hammer, and walnut S&W combat grips. I could shoot it all day and not get tired. Worked for an armed security force and carried 158 gr. JHP. Sam Browne duty holster and belt.

Every time I remember selling it, I kick myself.
