I was looking (briefly) at the Kimber Custom Carry, but My God, over $1000 for this gun!!!!!! I mean it looked nice, and fit well, but it is way out of my price range. I think that the Ruger P97 will fit the bill for a next gun for me. Why are nice 1911's so damned expensive????

I've been reading quite a bit about I.M. Metals HS2000. This pistol has a couple of features on it such as the ambi-mag release and the grip safety, that intrests me. The grip angle looks a little more "user friendly" than the Glock. It has been given rave reviews by those that have tested it, but time will tell.
