Schmidt & Bender. Is there any other?

I use a VX II 4x12x40 AO on my 7mm rem mag, and a Vortex Diamondback 4x12x40 on my .270 winchester, my next scope purchase will probably be the Vortex Diamondback 4x12x40 AO.;) I'm very happy with the quality of this Vortex brand.:)

BigFatts-- Ok, so I'm getting ready to put a Ziess 3x9-40 Conquest
on my Browning Safari 30.06-- Leupold bases and rings. You are
looking for a more "classic" looking optic. Would you speak to just
what you are after? I respect your thinking on this matter.

Sorry for the slow reply. I too have the Leupold 2 pc bases and rings. To me the matte black finish and high turrets on the Zeiss just don't look right on a classic sporting rifle. It would look right at home on a SS/synthetic rifle or something like that but I think a classic looking rifle should have a classic looking scope. A classic Weaver, Leupold, etc with a nice gloss finish and trim lines. I haven't found the exact scope I'm looking for yet but I'll know it when I see it. I would love to come across a top of the line Leupold from the 70's or something along those lines.

A Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP mil/mil is on my Savage .308 bolt gun. It replaced a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50 FFP mil/mil. PST glass is much better, as are the turrets, IMO. Others include Millet, Leupold, Burris, Bushnell, and an ACOG.

Bushnell, Leupold, & Cabela's brand.

My H&R single-shots and my NEOS carbine are my only scoped rifles.

The top rifle is my Handi-Rifle in .357 magnum,,,
It sports a 3 x 9 x 40 Leupold Rifleman.

The bottom rifle is my H&R Sportster in .22 LR,,,
It sports a 3 x 9 x 40 Bushnell Banner.

Below is my NEOS carbine.

It sports a 4 x 30 Cabela's Rimfire scope I had laying around,,,
I had to use very high (shoot through) mounts to clear the iron sights.

The Bushnell Banner and Cabela Rimfire brand are not bad scopes at all,,,
But there is a marked difference in clarity/brightness between them and the Leupold.

2 Leupold VX-3 4.5-14X (1 AO, 1 non)
1 Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14X SF
2 Redfield Revolution 4-12X
2 Burris Fullfield II 3-9X
2 Intensity 6.5-20X AO
1 Nikon Prostaff 3-9X BDC RF

Trying to decide whether or not to pre-order one of the Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 scopes that Cameraland is offering for $279. Seems like quite a deal.

wife says I'm done... haha i don't think so.

2. nikon prostaff 3x9
