Kern, for a ZFK55

Assorted Weaver steel tubes, K2.5, K4, KV (first variable scope). Lyman Allweather, J.Unertl Condor. Muller APV and TAC II, Vortex Viper PST, Nikon M223, and a Pentax version of the Nikon Monarch (same scope with Pentax brand).

The 75 year old Vickers holds it's own out to 400yds against any of them. The 60 year old Kern is as clear as the Vortex.

Bushnell 4200's X2
Leupold VXII's X4
Leupold VXIII X2
Ziess Conquests X2
Bausch & Lomb X1
Burris X1
Weaver X2

Sold the last Nikon I'll ever own two weeks ago.

Out of over sixty rifles, have just three scopes...black ones, don't know the names of the manufacturer. One I won at a contest, and the other two were on the rifles when I bought them.

They all work, I guess, as I could hit targets with them, but they mess up "open" sight shooting. Especially when shooting over 300 yards with peeps.

I have a variety:

Nikon Monarch 3x9x40
Nikon Monarch 4.5x14x44 I think that’s it, only used it a few times.
Bausch & Lomb Elite 4200
Bushnell Elite 3200
Bushnell Elite 4200
Bushnell Elite 4200

That's my main hunting rifles, I have others on some safe queens, such as Tasco, Simmons and so on.

I've got a variety

Leupold, Weaver, Swift Optics, Simmons, Nikon, Redfield. One old 6X Japanese Tasco that is really a whole lot better scope than you'd think.

I know bow you feel, my Tasco Titan was made in Japan and designed to compete against higher end scopes. Optics are great and it is rugged, sure wish I could find some more.

I have only Nikons at this tiime.
1 Monarch 3x9x40
1 Buckmaster 4.5-14x40
1 ProStaff 3-9x40
1 ProStaff 2-7x32

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Premiere Heritage 5-25x50mm with Gen2 Reticle.

I had a 5-25 USO and the PH is much better. For the money though I really like the leupold 8-25x long range with TMR reticle.

Scope(s)

Got more than one. The brands range from Tasco and Simmons, through Bushnell into Leupold and on to Trijicon.
No complaints about any of them. They all work just fine.

My $180.00 discount store Win. Ranger 30-06 has a 3X9 $3.00 garage sale special scope, I don't even know brand. I won many bench rest competitions with that combo, sub-.75" 100 yard groups, and anything I point it at and shoot dies in tracks.
My traditional flintlock muzzle loaders don't have scopes.
Somebody used the word "ashamed". Should I be ashamed?

I have many brands and all work fine.
7 Leupold
2 Sightron
2 Burris
1 Weaver
1 Mueller
1 Bushnell
1 Redfield
