What scope do you have on your rifle?

Very pleased with my Leupold MK-III 4.5 X 14 X 40 on my Cooper Model 54 Varmint.

My Ruger M77 MK II wears a Leupold VX II 3X9X4O, And my Muzzle Loading Rifle wears a Leupold Ultimate Slam 3X9X40. The rest of My Rifles have iron Sights, oops except for my Winchester Model 270 pump .22 it wears an old Weaver 4X Marksman the old steel tube American made ones. God Bless Leupold ! ! !

3 Nikon Monarch's, 2 Nikon Buckmasters, 2 Mueller's on rimfires, and have a Leuopold VX-R "Hog" scope coming in Thursday...

Buckmasters are great for the $, am very pleased with the step up to the Monarchs, the Mueller's are a bargain for rimfires, and have read GLOWING reports about the VX-R-need to go shoot some hogs now!

My Browning Safari had a Zeiss Conquest. Looking for something a little more classic looking scope. Zeiss is absolutely top notch though.

My No4 sporter will be getting a Tasco World Class. Definately nothing fancy, but it's laying around.

BigFatts-- Ok, so I'm getting ready to put a Ziess 3x9-40 Conquest
on my Browning Safari 30.06-- Leupold bases and rings. You are
looking for a more "classic" looking optic. Would you speak to just
what you are after? I respect your thinking on this matter.

Thanks

David

Which rifle do you want to know about? I've got 5 VX-III, 1 VX-II, 1 VariX-II, 1 VX-I, and 2 M8 Leupold scopes, 1 Nikon Monarch UUC, 1 Elite 4200 and 1 Banner, 1 Tasco Titan, 2 Redfield Revolution, 2 Vortex Vipers, Weaver GST, K4, and K6, Burris FFII, and a few others I can't exactly remember at this time. So I have a few to say the least.

I was really torn between what scope to put on my LAR-8. I considered the traditional 3-9, ACOG, Red Dot, I felt I had to have magnification to some degree. I had actually placed an order for the 6X ACOG, but that thing was huge, they told me they were out of stock so I cancelled the order.

I considered a red dot with magnifier, an expensive option and would've added alot of weight and taken up alot of rail space.

I felt I had to have a lighted reticle, then I found Leupold's line of lighted reticle scopes and decided to go with their VX-3 1.5-5x20mm illuminated circle-dot reticle and it seems to combine the most of what I wanted.
