I'd wager your question reveals more about the owner than the firearm. I'm a collector & tinkerer; I like to tinker (clean, polish internal parts, touch up blueing, try out various lubes & greases, ...) with my firearms as much as I shoot them. Some folks are shooters; if they never had to clean a gun it'd be fine with them.
With that said, I like the way the PPK & clones (p64, Makarov, FEG/PMK, ...) field strip for cleaning: pull the trigger guard down, run the slide way back, & lift off.
And then there's the baby Colt & clones breakdown: slide locked back, rotate barrel, (maybe slide to battery position & pull the trigger if striker fired), slide forward and off.
And the tokarev breakdown similar to the 1911...
