What one handgun do you want more than anything?

I'm interested in a Chiappa Rhino 4", but I haven't found anyone who stocks them... and that's not the sort of thing I'm going to order sight un-handled.

I think I found the one I want now.

Colt Delta Elite 10mm.

Now just to wait till June 2012 (turn 21).

Then probably a few more months just to find a new one under $1,000...

Till then just try to shoot my friends guns :o

For me it's a tie between a S&W Pre-War Registered Magnum with a 3 1/2" barrel and a Webley WG Target Model. Close runners up include a S&W Triple Lock and a Webley Mk. V.

I'm really wanting a Wilson Combat 1911. There are many other handguns I want and plan on buying but I consider the Wilson Combat pretty much out of my reach. I can afford (barely) it but I just cant justify $3k plus for a handgun.

Okay, I remembered the holy Grail handgun I want,,,

That would be a Smith & Wesson Model 45,,,
It is an exact match to a Model 10,,,
But chambered in .22 LR.

Here is what the 2010 Standard Catalogue of Firearms has to say:

Model 45 (Post Office)
This model is a special purpose K-frame Military & Police Model
chambered for the .22 rimfire. It was designed as a training revolver
for police departments and the U.S. Postal Service. This
model was manufactured in limited quantities between 1948 and
1957. In 1963 production abruptly began and ended again. There
were 500 of these revolvers released on a commercial basis, but
they are rarely encountered.
NIB Exc. V.G. Good Fair Poor
1250 800 650 450 300 100

Kind of like a Model 15/Model 18 pair,,,
Or a Model 14/Model 17 pair.

They are semi rare but not impossible to find,,,
The problem is they are highly collectable,,,
Most folk who own one won't sell them.

That's my Holy Grail gun,,,
It's the one handgun I would load up a credit card for.

I have basically all the ones I've always wanted. My high-power, my SIG, my custom 1911...

I'd like a CZ-75, SIG P220 Elite Dark, and a Nighthawk Custom. :) they're more...sure there are. I'll come back to this thread soon.

Three times now I've gotten the gun I couldnt live without. First time it was a Ruger 50th Anniversary 357 that was custom tuned and finished by Bowen Classic Arms, next it was a BP frame Colt SAA 45 that was converted to a 3 1/2" barrel with a drift front sight by the Colt Custom Shop and then nitre blue accents and ivory grips added. The third gun was a ejectorless Colt SAA 45 turned into a 2" snubby also by the Custom Shop and then nitre blue and ivory grips added. All three of these guns will follow me to the grave. But now I want a S&W model 14 or 19 turned into a downsized Registered Magnum from the set back rib at the muzzle to the full upper checkering treatment and chamfered cylinder. This gun also would have to be equiped with ivory grips modeled after the old style checkered Magna grips with medallions.

I'd love a Ruger Redhawk in .357 magnum with a 6-inch barrel. Never seen one. Likely never will.

Other than that, a Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum with a 5-inch barrel.

I am not a 1911 fan by any means but this is just beautiful
