What is your dream revolver?

What is your dream revolver that if you could walk into a gun shop today and buy you would?

Mine would be a S&W Registered Magnum downsized to a K-Frame chambered in 38 spl. +P with a 6" barrel. It would have all the checkering on the top surface and the set back from the muzzle rib and front sight also that beautiful hammer.

Im pretty simple and pretty boring, I won't call it a dream necessarily but a single action Ruger or Uberti, one of each preferably.:)

By "dream" do you mean one that might actually exist somewhere or total fantasy? For the former, right now, mine would be a Ruger GP100 model 1756, 5" blued .357 with tuned action (say 8lb DA/3lb SA), removable rail with red dot scope on top, Alamont grip+Chig insert, night sights.

For the latter: 12oz frame, 2" barrel, shrouded hammer like a M649, 6 rds of .44 magnum but recoils like a .22lr, makes no more noise than a light bulb blowing out. You did say "dream".

I like a good SA revolver - I have a Ruger NV and a Uberti Bisley - the Uberti Bisley has fast become my "favorite" and I guess I'd classify it as my "dream" revolver . . .

For a DA . . . give me a good S & W M & P anyway . . I have a 5" M & P . . . it IS my "dream" gun . . . shipped the year I was born and shoots like a "dream" . . .

A lot of folks say the "Python" is their "dream" gun . . well, I have a 4" blued one . . . quite frankly, I hate it . . . too much iron on it. I bought it for an "investment" . . . and it certainly has "appreciated" since I got it. Someday though, it's going . . . I like to shoot what I have and between the M & P and the Python . . . I'll grab the M & P overytime for DA.

The one I let slip away, a s&w model 58, 6" with presentation box , and the faintest of turn lines on the cylinder. No dies or brass with it though, :(

Already got it. Smith & Wesson K-frame/ fixed sights/ 3" heavy barrel/ round butt / stainless/ 38 special. Model 64. (mine is a 64-3, to be exact.)

Shoots like a dream. Outstanding trigger, with no mods needed. One hole accuracy. Even compact enough to carry well.....though a little heavy for that.

Mine is fairly simple,,,

Mine is fairly simple,,,
Because I already own the gun.

S&W Model 15 Combat Masterpiece.

The thing fits my hand perfectly,,,
It has more accuracy than I can utilize,,,
And it has the classic lines that make it beautiful.

Now if I were dreaming I would love to own,,,
A subtly engraved model with ivory grips.

A Ruger Vaquero in .357, stainless with bird head grips. These are still being made in .45LC, but I missed the boat a couple years ago on the .357s.
This, or the (hopefully) upcoming Ruger GP100 in .22lr.. which I've been waaaaaaaaiting for...

Another vote for the Combat Masterpiece

My best friend has one he got as a gift from his father-in-law. Pretty gun that shoots like a dream.
