What is your dream revolver?

Mine is my Ruger Lipsey's model 44 special with its 4 5/8 inch barrel. It is one of the original 2000 they made in 2009 and a great shooter.

Right now it is a Ruger GP100 1705. I am about to realize this dream though. I have one on layaway and should be picking it up the first of December...:)

Mine is a Smith & Wesson Model 520 .357 Magnum N frame that was made for the New York State Police back in 1980. Think of it as a Model 13 on steroids!

Smith & Wesson stop producing internal locks on revolvers would be a nice dream .I would like to see Colt go back into production of revolvers .
Ruger stop stamping warning words all over there barrels .
I'm not that picky !

How about something important? If you only like the old guns, only money and a good search stand between you and your dream revolver.

I just had (6) guns fitted with trigger lock plugs.

Boy, I'm with you on the warning stamped on Rugers. But I like those guns and am keeping them.

Colt...meh. I am so frustrated with prices of guns too nice and too valuable to actually shoot. If they went back into production, we would just spawn a subculture of those who like to reminisce about how much nicer the old ones were.

It's pretty simple.
A 480 Ruger Bisley. I wouldn't be picky with either a 5.5 or 7.5 inch barrel.
If Ruger doesn't build it soon enough, Bowen will have to do it for me.

A Smith & Wesson K38 Combat Masterpiece. I currently have a K22 Outdoorsman that I am looking to replace with the K38. K22 is pretty much the same revolver, hell even the same K frame, but there is something to be said be said about the loved .38cal round.

They already made my dream revolver. A 4" S&W Model 19, pinned and recessed, bright blue finish. Now if we want to talk fantasy, it would be even better if S&W could rebuild that gun exactly the same but with advanced metallurgy to improve the forcing cone and frame durability. That would be the ultimate dream gun for me.

A Rolt Rugthon, alternatly known as a Rolter Snakurity Snix, is on my shot list.

It's a Ruger Security Six with a Colt's Python revolver barrel attached. Bubba special to be sure, but fine shooters nonetheless!
