I saw a Walker Colt at the gun show. The guy had a letter with it. He said he had been offered $100k and did not take it.
I can't take a picture at Washington Arms Collectors events. I would have taken a pic of that guy and his revolver.
What kind of guy can afford that revolver and yet has the time to rent a table just to show it off? He must have been looking for a higher offer.
Uberti make a copy for $350.
If I had the Colt I could sell it an buy 300 Ubertis. Or buy one and pocket the difference.
In my dream I'd be able to afford the 1847 Walker Colt that sold for just under a million dollars.
