What is your current Car/Truck Gun?

I'm trying to see if my Ruger GP-100 Stainless is a common truck/car gun. I also use it for my nightstand gun.

What about you guys?

Min length single shot 12ga with 3"mag and hand made one handed stock/grip with hi viz sight...but i always have a carry piece on me -snubbie, 1911, cz82, g22 or whatnot

S&W 649 2 1/8" barrel 357 magnum is our car/truck gun(when we travel we carry the truck/car gun as well//it can also be an extra CCW for us)

the 6" Ruger gp100 is home defense gun because it used to be truck gun but has trouble fitting in glovebox(can't fit in it with holster) and doesn't fit in center counsel.

we have two seperate CCW weapons to round out our handgun selection(a Derringer and Taurus)

7.5 inch Ruger Super Blackhawk. It pleases me to keep it under the front seat of the truck. If my pocket pistol isn't big enough, the Ruger certainly is.

A nickeled snubnose S&W Model 10-5 loaded with Remington R38S12 158 gr. +P LSWCHPs - the "FBI load". Fits perfectly in the center console, butt up and muzzle pointing toward the back floor for an easy grasp. What a great-shooting gun. The nickeled case ammo doesn't stick in the cylinders even in hot weather.

Whatever gun I strap on or stick in my pocket. I use to keep a S&W 44mag with a 8 3/8 barrel inbetween the seat and center consloe untill a guy made me a ridiculos offer on it that I couldnt turn down.

I dont hunt cars and trucks, but if I did, I would want a m60. Anything less wouldnt be as much fun.

An older, well worn Cold O/P. Loaded with standard velocity JHP's of one brand or another. Half a box of lead target ammo as a reload.

Taurus model 65 with lead hollow point 38 +p. bought for $200 a while back and use it as my beater gun......

well

normally i carry my springfield micro compact 45 1911 or one of my 2 full size 1911s.or some times i carry a smith model 60 or an m&p R8 tactical depends on where im going and what imgetting in to. that may change when i get my xdm9 with 19 round capacity but we will see.

My Glock 23 is always with me. I have other stuff depending on the whens and wheres of the travel, but the Glock always goes.

I tend to lock my carry gun up in there when I end up somewhere I can't tote it. However, I've recently bought an old PA-63 and retuned it. Once I get a chance to test fire it more for reliability, I may stow it in my vehicle. Effective, and not too expensive should something happen to it.

Alternatively, I've been considering getting another Mosin Nagant, or cheap surplus rifle, to store under the seats. One never knows when a rifle could prove handy, right?
