3:3 for now- two .357 revolvers, one .22 revolver, one 9mm auto, one .380 auto, one .45 auto. My next purchase is likely to be a 4" or a 6" stainless GP-100 so the revolvers will be on top for a while.
I don't have a strong preference for one over the other, but both of my .357s are small-frame guns that are wonderful for carry but not terribly fun to shoot magnums through- so I have a particular desire to acquire a medium-frame revolver to do the things that the SP-101 and 649 just aren't well suited for.
If I could fill out my standing wish list tomorrow, the count would likely stand at 6:8, favoring autos. My reasoning is that I want at least two 'practical' guns for each chambering, plus a few 'fun guns'- that would leave me with four .357s, three .22s (1 auto, 2 revolvers), three 9mms, two .380s, and two .45s. Obviously the list would get a whole lot longer, money and space permitting... right now everything on the list favors a different niche; I'd love to have duplicates from different manufacturers (a S&W mid-frame to complement the Rugers, etc).
Nope, haven't given the subject much thought at all.
