What is the hardest to find pistol ammo?

The hardest one to find IMHO is the stuff they use on the movies that works like some sort of death ray.... No mucsular nerve twitches, little if any blood and 100% fatal with even a near miss or a empty gun with the slide locked to the rear... :D

8mm Lebel is hard to find,,,

I had to order it through Midway,,,
It turned out to be manufactured by Fiocchi.

$35.00 per box of 50 rounds,,,
Right now they are out of stock again,,,
Apparently Fiocchi makes a limited run once a year.

Thanks for reminding me about this,,,
I need to order a couple hundred rounds for her.

This is the revolver,,,
Margeaux, a model 1892 Lebel 8mm,,,
The first military revolver designed for smokeless powder.

You can find these at larger gun shows,,,
I've seen at least 5 in the last couple of years,,,
And of those five, the most expensive was only $225.00.

P.S. Goto www.obsoleteammo.com where this gentleman will sell you 20 rounds of Pyrodex charged lead ammo formed from 32-20 ammo for $28.00 per 20 rounds.

.45 magnum is hard to come by, I've never seen it sold in stores. 9x18 can be a little rough. .38 super and 10mm are pretty rare. .32S&W is pretty hard to find in stores. The closest store here that can even get it is over an hour away and wants almost $30 for a box of 20.

.32 cupfire is not too bad, but getting Moore teat-fire with the flat teat is nearly impossible.

Some of those comments, I think it is as hard to find the weapons to shoot those rounds as to find the rounds to shoot in them.

9mm Federal (9x19R) is another good obsolete cartridge. Died because it too closely resembled .38 S&W and .38 Colt NP at 2.5 times the pressure.

.357 Wildey Mag is pretty much impossible to find ammo for. Wildey contracted an ammo make to make a limited run of ammo for the first run of test barrels they sent to a few gun writers, and customers. The project never realy took off. The people that tested them liked them greatly. I have my grampa's. They also had some forming, and loadiing dies made that they sent with the barrell as well.

Finding brass in that is imposible. When I can find the parrent brass it is outragously priced.

Load info was extreemly hard to come by as well. I still have the factory loaded ammo in the box that is unfired. I will not shoot it unless it comes down to an end of the world situation.
