What handgun would you go back in time to buy if you could?

The 9mm SP-101 for $400 that I walked away from.
That Savage Stryker in .223 that I turned sown in favor for an NAA mini-revolver.

had an ffl 40n yrs. ago and bought/sold on limited basis. had hands on many "cool" handguns. would love to have a 4" and 6" colt python and a 22 diamond back (4" 22lr). oh well--times change.:)

I always thought these were cool - the PDW of their day

I can't think of a single handgun (guess I just like the modern ones)....however I would have LOVED to be pick up a Thompson 1928 before the NFA stuff came about.

1. The Colt Officer's .45 that I traded for a Glock 36.

2. That Striker 12 ga Streetsweeper I handle at a gunshow years ago.

Is part of the deal that I be allowed to bring guns back to the present time?

If so, after I bought out the Colt Paterson factory, I would go on to scavenge Revolutionary War and Civil War battlefields, then...

A factory-new Colt Anaconda. You know, back when they were still in production, and therefore NOT selling for $1000.00 and beyond.

Go back in time to buy a gun? OK. I buy one of the .45ACP Lugers. OR ser# 1 Single Action Army.

A brace of Mauser Schnellfeuerpistolen would be fun, too....

Or maybe the cataloged (but as far as I know, never seen) .45acp Walther P-38s....
