What handgun round do you enjoy shooting most?

9mm for cost and recoil. I can go out and shoot the 9mm all day long and not wear out my wrist or my wallet. All my 9mm are full size so the are for the range and not for CCW. I would love to find a nice S&W 3913 for CCW but no luck so far in my price range.
 
Today I voted 357mag. A couple of weeks ago I might have voted 380 and for sure years ago I would have voted 44spl. So I reserve the right to change my mind. :) I voted 357 because I have 4 double action and one single action revolver in that caliber. I like a bit of snap but in my old age the 44 is more than I enjoy anymore.
 
.38 Special

I shoot .38 Special in several target guns and general plinking. It is not my favorite caliber, nor my 'go-to' defense gun, but it's probably the most pleasurable.
 
I don't know if you meant to but you can choose more than one caliber...so I chose my top 3. It changes between 9mm, 357, and 45ACP.

My Bauer .25 auto is probably my favorite to shoot. The ammo is crazy expensive, but something about that little tiny pistol makes me smile every time I fire it. Love the big boom of my 40 and 45, my 9's are cheap and I can get a lot of practice, but when I take out that little rodent I have the most fun.

What I enjoy is .22lr, can shoot them all day. What I end up shooting is .38, 9mm and .45acp, the guns I actually carry.
 
I said "other" .....

It varies: Sometimes I like one or the other of my .357's, sometimes one or the other of my 1911's ....... some days the Ruger .22/45 is more enjoyable..... some days, I wish I had more rifle ammo...... variety is (one of) the spice(s) of life ......
 
I'll take my 11.5mm aka .45 Colt with a 255 grain hard cast SWC at around 950 fps which will do just about anything a handgun can do with low recoil to boot. Not many "rounds" if any, can make that claim. The .45 Colt is a beautiful thing.
 
I voted other since you did not have .460 S&W Mag listed. Altho I don't shoot the X-Frame as much as my other revolvers, it never fails to put a big-azz smile on my face when I do. It's also the one gun that everyone else at the range "HAS" to try at least once.
 
Wow! Choosing one was fairly hard.

I really enjoy the 41mag(which I voted for) but I must say the 45lc and the 480 with some nice tailored handloads are a real treat also. And yes, the 45acp of course.

You really shouldn't make a guy think this hard. :mad::D.
 
It was tough to choose. I went for 357magnum but almost went for 45acp.

The reason i chose the magnum was the very satisfying kick when the hammer hits. Its very addictive seeing a bowling pin fly off the table after being wacked by a magnum.
