What handgun do u find to be under-rated but great

The Star 28, 30 and 31 series guns are HIGHLY underrated. They are simple, well-made, and very accurate, but, alas, the company is defunct.

Likewise, the Astra A-75 is another underrated gun, but, like Star, is no longer with us.

I'll second the Ruger SR series. Mine are the SR9 & Sr45.
Very nice guns for under $400.

Steel framed Kahrs. Crazy accurate and great to shoot. Plus DA-style triggers and steel frames are so unfashionable there are deals to be had on used ones.

heritage single action 9-shot roughrider in 22lr/wmr, new for $200. or 6-shot for $150, which is easier to find. excellent price/performance value proposition. safe and friendly teaching tool. handgun/defense specific 22wmr ammo makes it credible for protection. single action forces better aimed shots. reloads are slow but it goes bang every time.

CZ's have never been underrated

They have been and still are in Oklahoma. Not sure about other parts of the country- but the mainstream equates them with 2nd- or 3rd tier.

CZ's are scarce but not underrated.

I think it's more of their availability,,,
Or rather lack of availability.

When I started looking for my CZ 75 and Kadet,,,
I called at least 25 gun stores in Tulsa, Ok City, and other large towns.

I finally had to have them ordered in,,,
No one stocks them here.

So I wouldn't say they are considered second tier guns,,,
They just aren't very popular due to their rarity.

Now Bersa on the other hand,,,
I own three that have been excellent performers,,,
And I have several friends whose guns are also very dependable.

But as soon as you say, Bersa,,,
The noses go up and the sneering happens.

Nothing from South America seems to get any respect.
