I chose "other." I've always liked two-tone pistols. I have a Kahr K40 that is matte/polished stainless, but I also like stainless/blued combos.

Satin blue/"black"--whatever a coated (factory) Ed Brown Kobra Carry, Special Forces, etc., is is "it" in an auto--especially a 1911. Med gloss (traditional S&W) blue in a revolver.

Just for the sheer exoticness I had to go with "Gloosy blue".
Thinking of having my car, house, and dogs all painted in this color... If I can ever find it!

Something about the patina on a nicely blued and aged gun.

Black frame, satin slide/small parts.

Then again, all black looks good. Some others look really good on certain pistols.

well it depends, in a semi auto i prefer a nice matte blue finish. but in a revolver i prefer a perty stainless. thats my preferences...

I voted other because it depends on the gun.I mean a matte stainless SAA is just wrong, gotta be CCH or a high polished stainless.I'd love to have a damascus 1911.

I voted Satin Stainless mainly because a high shine is hard to keep looking good. The slightest finger prints ruin the look for me. Satin is a bit easier to keep looking good! On that note, I also love the look of a deep bluing...Colt's Royal Blue comes to mind! (Also hard to keep looking good, but just too damn sexy to ignore! LOL)

I'm a polished stainless man. In fact I'll polish the hell out of any stainless guns, gun parts, etc. that I can get my hands on.

Totally depends on hte gun and how the finished is done. For revolvers I like stainless steel but for Glocks I think black is better. As long as it goes bang every time and isn't rusted it is fine with me. I prefer not to get camo finished guns as if you put them down they are too hard to find since they just blend into the background. Rifles and shotguns should be high-gloss blue.

My favorite finish?

Definitely stainless on the revolvers (don't know why, but to me it just looks very cool on the wheel guns) and either finish on my semi automatics.
