A guy a few lanes down from me at the range the other day had various zombie targets. http://www.zombietargets.net/ I thought they were pretty funny...hopefully the zombies don't try to sue.
These targets are all PDF files for easier printing! Download them for use when you are not online! They are designed for printing onto 8.5x11 inch paper, with a line across the bottom to cut them into square targets. I can get 9 of them on the cardboard backer of the range I shoot at.
Ahh, you like the "Barney"! It does save on the dreaded yellow ink! :barf:
Personally I shoot my smallest groups using Target 645 (Target_645) with the small bullseye and 'pistol sight' bars. It is also an 'ink saver'. Give it a try if you are shooting iron sights!
Kinda bummed tonight, bought a Springfield XD-M .40 with Night Sights this afternoon, and the front sight has no glow! Oh well, I'll bring it back tomorrow, but I 'hate' getting defective stuff!
The outdoor range I go to has about 4 types of targets - single bullseye on about an 18x24" rectangle piece of paper, 4 bullseyes on about a 36"x10" strip, and two silhouettes. I like the strips. For one thing, the bulls are red on one side of the paper and green on the other. Not black. I hate black targets...hard to see black bullet holes in them. For another, a lot of folks post a single 18x24 in the middle of the backboard, so the middle always gets shot out and therefore you can't tack anything there. The strips span that hole nicely.
The strips at the range are 5 for $1, and I am happy to pay it to help support the place.
I also use targets downloaded from targetz.com. I like the yellow circles, 6 to a page without outlines or 4 to a page with outlines. The yellow shows up as medium grey on my b&w printer, and that's dark enough to see out at 15 yards, but not too dark that I can't see bullet holes.
