What do you carry when you can't have your CC pistol?

Interesting food for thought.

I go to UGA, and am not even allowed to carry a knife (of any size) on campus. But I carry OC spray on my keychain.

Oh, I forgot.

I bought about a dozen of the SW Tactical pens for my relatives this Christmas.

First off, I think it's a lousy weapon. I'd rather carry a wet brick.

The issue here is that many of these realtives are my wife's nieces. They carry nothing, and they have absolutely no interst in carry a "defensive weapon."

I bought the gold model, they think it's stylish, it's a great pen and they'll utilize it for a writing implement. Technically, I secretly gave them something for fighting back.

The willingness and ability to fight really dirty;) If I get the feeling something bad is about to happen; I make sure it's me who does the bad thing first... My instincts haven't let me down yet.

I'm on my second Spyderco Native ... just love that knife ... I've carried a knife just about daily for more than 40 years, got my first Native maybe 10 years ago and fell in love. It lasted until about a year ago when the tip broke off while I was doing something stupid ... Replaced it pretty quickly and the new one's just as good.

LOL shadi!
The tourist, why a wet brick? I've heard people say "beat with a bag of hot nickles" always wondered why hot ones and if it would really hurt more. Would like to know where that saying started.

My NAA arms mini .22 mag. :D LOL. I always carry a kershaw assisted opening pocket knife everywhere except maybe say a court building they get pickey. I consider it a tool not so much a weapon of defense. I try very hard to not patronize any place that does not allow ccw when it's possible. I find gun free zones theoretically "dangerous". Criminals dont follow the rules. I do. therefore I'm at risk. I vote for gun friendly politicians and not for gun right infringeing ones.

got a couple benchmade or a boker auto assists (got them while I was military and I am still DoD, just civy now, so can still carry them). it that don't work then I got a nice set of keys that make a dandy improptu brass knuckles (kinda spikey with the keys and wouldn't want to get hit with a fist that has keys pointing out of it )

I usually carry, except when I am at work (on a DoD installation), but as soon as I drive off the installation i carry (allowed to have a firearm in the vehicle, but must be unloaded, cased and out of arms reach).

When I'm too lazy to carry I always have a Coldsteel Safekeeper II. It's the spade blade (3") type with the fixed T-hadle that acts as a fist-back. It's not gonna do much but its something.
