What are the Pros and Cons of the .45 ACP?

Not according to the ammo gurus at the FBI.....

You believe that the FBI HRT (Hostage Rescue Team) guys use .45's because its less effective than 9mm's and they want to give the bad guys a better chance of winning?

That would be the same FBI that declared the 10mm round as the end all be all round, correct? Then the same FBI that declared that round was too much to handle for smaller agents, correct? That then downloaded the 10mm that led to the creation of the .40 S&W, correct?

Sorry if I don't place much stock in what the FBI says is the best pistol round to use.
