I know I've seen some post on here about wally world ammo so I thought I'd post. Went to my local Wal-fart last night and they actually had a good selection of calibers, 380,9mm,40s&w and some others...I got some 40s&w...once I got the lazy a** kid to come to the sporting goods and open the case...took 30min...must have been on his break:rolleyes:

Wish mine did. Stopped by there this afternoon to pick something up for the wife, their shelves were bare, only had rifle rounds. I asked the clerk when they would have some in stock, seems they're having a hard time getting it from their distributors.

I just left there and paid a shade over 18 bucks for a 550 count bulk pack of Remington .22 hollow points (including tax) I about cussed.

I hope that don't last.

Did the 22 ammo go up? I swear a month or two ago I paid 7 bucks for 550 federal hollow point, this time I had to pay 16 bucks for 550 remington.

7x62 x 39 is usually what i get there. their winchester aint bad at all. Also, i use to get their remington 223. when i had the wasr 3 ak 47. lol i had problems going there at night around 8:00 and usually ill get lucky if someones at the counter ;\

My local wal-mart just stocked up sometime between 8pm last night (when I was there buying 2 boxes of .40) and noon today (when I went back hoping they had more).

Rather than having only about 10 percent of their normal inventory of ammo like they've had for the last month, they had about 50 - 60 percent of it in. Plenty of 9mm and 40 in stock, as well as some 45 and some rifle calibers.

Around here, it was $9.84 in Dec 2007. I bought a bunch, but not enough. It went up in Jan 2008, and has gone up a few times since. Currently about $13.85 a box, and I still buy two every chance I get, because it's not going to get any cheaper.

I called my local Wally World before I go there, they havent had ammo in 3 weeks. No .308, no 9mm, only one big pack of .45. So I went and bought the last one... :(

Just picked up at wal-mart...

200rnds of WWB .40 S&W $58

100rnds of Blazer Brass $25

2200 of federal 550 .22 bulk packs $13ish a box

Picked up a Marlin 60 for $85 at a gun show today!
Also picked up 8 boxes of federal 3'' magnum HP rifled slugs for $3 a box...

Wal-mart must have just got a boatload of ammo in because they probably had 20 boxes of the 550 .22 boxes. The last 3-4 times I've been in there, all they had was the crappy Winchester stuff...

They had few boxes of 9mm in WWB and Remington

A few boxes of .45 and .45 G.A.P (which I've never seen in wal-mart before) and looked like a lot of rifle ammo... Also plenty of 12 gauge stuff too.

wally world

All the sudden (after having none for about3 weeks) we have blazer brass .40 cal in NC wally worlds at $12.87/50 which is better than there WWB price on.40 which is about $28.00. Also I have not seen any more REM JHP 100box lately. Bought 330 rd. BB last week.

Walmarts around here have slowly started to replenish over the last couple weeks it seems. Trouble for me is they aren't really replenishing the things I shoot yet.

No WWB .380, No Rem Corelokt .243 or .30-06, No federal bulk .22.

I reload my .45 ammo and don't shoot that much .38/.357 (not that they've had any of that exactly either.

The only thing I see in my local Hellmart that I can use is CCI BlazerBrass in 230 gr. ACP. Of course, the one here keeps all their pistol and rifle ammunition locked behind the counter where you can't see what they have. The only ammo they have out is shotgun ammo.

Interesting that there hasn't been any shortage of shotgun ammo anywhere I've looked - all gauges, all varieties of shotshell and slug loads seem to be quite plentiful at Walmarts, at places like Gander Mountain, etc.

WM near me got in a shipment of about 3,000 rounds of 9mm blazer brass as I was standing there talking to other customers.

W/in 15 minutes, that ammo was gone...sold for 8.97 a box.

The did have boatloads of 22 ammo - Federal 550 bulk and Federal 325 match about $14 apiece, had about 50 of each of those.

my local wal-mart in ri had one box of 50 rd 9mm and thats it,:( I bought that and asked the clerk when they were getting more she said she wasnt sure
