Ask someone from Great Britain if they would have been ok with paying the $35 dollars a year, to have high paid executive officers, that would have fought hard on there behalf, to be able to own and carry guns!
They didn't and now they don't!!!!
So the way I see it, as long as I can continue to legally own and shoot my guns, then the $35 a year that I send to the NRA is money well spent, because if not for there hard work we might not even be talking about guns, unless it was in past tense like the British.

What a peculiar question! But this can all be boiled to a very simple question each of us must answer for ourselves : am I getting the value I expect in return for my annual contribution to the NRA? If yes, there's little need to consider the matter further. If no, thwn you should probably quit your membership. Mr. LaPierre's salary is irrelevant.
Are the people who work for the NRA not entitled to salaries consistent with what they could earn elsewhere in jobs requiring similar skills, training, education and experience -- and having similar responsibilities? Choosing to work full time for the RKBA should not require that one take a vow of poverty. The NRA is not a monastic order.
Well said. His job, like all others have value that is determined by the marketplace. This can be corrupted as we have seen in the financial sector over the last couple of decades, but for the most part the system still works. Although it has become less popular of late, success is not something to be denigrated IMO.
