Watches and guns-Let's see yours

My everyday carry gun and my most worn watch. The gun is a Walther PPS and the watch is a Casio 1500 aviator.

Whenever I look at articles in pistol mags, the guy holding the fancy custom pistol in a range shot, is wearing a Rolex, and not just the cheapest Datejust model, either. No Casios or Timex ever. Then they take a glamour shot of the pistol lying on a table with a pile of cartridges, a couple gold coins, a fancy schmancy custom pocket knife, and their Rolexes. Then they whine about how low the pay is for gunwriters.

No Rolexes, gold coins, or fancy crap for me.:barf: The Walther and the Casio are everyday tools for me.;)

Colt Commander and Fortis Flieger Chronograph...

for everyday i usually carry just a weathered Colt Cobra and no watch. as an electrician during the day, i cant usually wear any kind of jewelery...

watches are my other vice. there is also an Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch in the safe...

Points if you can tell me what movie the watch band is from.

Looks like the NATO band Mr. Connery wore in Goldfinger and Thunderball.

I like to combine my Omega 2531.80 with a new (2009) Walther P99 AS in 9mm. I'll get photos at some point.

SR9 and Omega

My father had an Omega that he bought during WWII and I always wanted one of my own. I finally bought one last year and now I am seriously thinking of selling it so I can buy more guns.

OK I will do it. How about a Breitling, a 640 and no gold coins, just old ancient green ones cause the revolver is ancient old school?

Depending on the attire.

A two-tone Longines or a 300m Citizen EcoDrive.

Depending on the mood.

S&W 442 or Kahr CW9.

As a side note, to the guy with the Omega, don't sell it. What people don't understand is that a quality timepiece will last as long as a quality firearm.

A watch is often a man's most statement making piece of jewelry. It can say alot about you. Again, somewhat like his gun.
