Apparently there is little correlation between the serious work of Simon Wiesenthal and the yahoos running today's organization. Shame.

I, too, emailed them...

I went to the Beaver County Militia site. What a hoot! I definitely will tell my friends!

OK, now I know what a hate group is. How about "love groups": would MMM and NAMBLA fit in that category?

The Wierdos even list http://first-amendment.com/ as an anti-government site! The domain owner for that url is a "how to stop telemarketers" and "viruses/hackers" type of guy! Geez, you'd think they'd *read* the sites before listing them. I've sent the first-amendment.com domain owner a note about it. I'm sure he'll be pleased (not!).

Papercut: What, READ hate literature? Take the risk of having their minds contaminated? Not on your life! Such stuff has to be handled very gingerly, which is why they base their decisions on what is a hate group on key word searches and unverified referals.

Doh! Brett, methinks you got a point there. Silly me--assuming that they might actually read the stuff.

On that subject, got a message back from the domain owner, Russ Smith. He says an Aryan-something-or-other group used to own the domain name, but didn't pay the renewal fee so he bought it. He says he had a message up for over six months, but apparantly Brett is spot-on: they don't read their linked sites very much.
