Given the use of depleted uranium rounds, this is true.

EDIT: Disregard, that only happens with the Barrett, not the M2. Not entirely sure why that is, it's just a mystery of life like the pyramids and microwave ovens.
 
People talk crap about anything. It makes me so disappointed in the human race how often I hear someone talking BS - things that are untrue but they confidently speak them as if they are fact. I can't wait for people to wake up and get off facebook and off their phone and realise they're a piece of dust in a universe, that they are not actually the whole universe, and that what they ACTUALLY do speaks more about them than the fantasy world they make up in their mind. Also nobody cares if you are "in line to see x", etc... Get a life, stop pretending you have one by telling everyone about it.

It absolutely does not happen with anything close to a man-portable weapon of any kind.

Hell, it wouldn't happen with a round from an M1 tank.
