If Gore won parish the thought, and eventially they passed a law requiring everyone to turn in their guns. What would you do? Decide to fight? Turn them in? Turn in some and Hide some? Hide Half and load the other Half? How would you hide them if that was your choice?

I've said it before. They may not have mine, sorry. How things proceed from there is entirely up to whoever made the illegal request in the first place.

I'm with Tamara on this one!

You have to be there when it's all over. Otherwise you can't say "I told you so."

I think it'll be time to mosey on down to the local second amendment shop -- seems prudent to stock up on some clarity pills, should one be forced to use them suddenly.

Turn in? Well the closest I may ever come is to get a sholder stock for a pistol and turn it into a short barreled rifle. Does that count? Of course, this would be with the appropriate BATF paperwork and transfer fee.

Thats one good thing about those gun buy back programs..I know here in Pa they take them "no questions asked" so when one comes near you, make sure you write down the date and time so that someday if they ever knock on your door asking where your guns are you just say: "Gee officer, I wanted to do something to help combat gun violence and save the children so I went and turned them all in on June 6th of last year at the gun buy back program because I wanted to do my share of saving children from gun violence."

You know guys-n-Gals..i think I just gotta idea....DO join HCI...and DO take a gun to one of the buy backs...even *I* being poor can swing $20 for a crappy toss-away .25 Jennings. You get the HCI crap-a T-shirt for $10 and a bunch of their literature. Keep it in a box in the closet. You get some brocures from the buy back...keep it in the same box...now. you invested maybe $50, and yeah-it's a crappy $50 BUT...you got the propaganda...they come knockin and the material is sitting on the livin room table, your wearin the shirt..."Yeah, I saw the light sir. I got rid of those damned, dangerous guns-for the children and support getting rid of ALL guns..."

Then ya shoot em in the back of the noggin as they leave. ;) [j/k]

T-Rex,
Do a 30-day search on Molon Labe. We have threads full of explanations - some of which might impress you.

The short version is, "Come and take them."

But there is SO much more....
