To kick off our production of the 450 Short Magnum Cartridge (SMC)* Triton is please to offer the following ammunition give-away to the Members of TFL.
To the first 50 people who respond to this post Triton will send them a 20 round box of 450 SMC, 230 gr. Hi-Vel.
Knowing that not everyone has a firearm set-up for the 450 SMC we will also offer a 20 round box of .45 ACP, 230 gr. Hi-Vel to the first 50 people who request this alternative ammunition.
To take advantage of either offer please send an e-mail to The Firing Line Giveaway. In your e-mail specify either 450 SMC or .45 ACP along with a mailing address. Address must be a physical address (no PO Boxes).
Only one box per household will be shipped. If it is discovered that someone is “gaming” this giveaway in an effort to receive multiple boxes that person will be taken off the mailing list.
WARNING: The 450 SMC cartridge generates higher pressure levels than conventional .45 Auto or .45 Auto +P ammunition. Under no circumstances should 450 SMC ammunition be used in a firearm not chambered or converted to handle the 450 SMC. The use of 450 SMC ammunition in anything other than firearm manufactured or converted to handle the 450 SMC will cause excessive wear and possible damage to the firearm and injury to the user. Under no circumstances should .45 Auto brass be used to duplicate 450 SMC ballistics. The 450 SMC cartridge case is constructed to withstand higher levels of pressure than conventional .45 Auto brass. When in doubt, consult with a qualified gunsmith.
