Anyway Constantine, I urge you to consider the 4th Gen Glocks, such as the G19 for 9mm or the G30S for the .45 round. The new grip shapes make all the difference, at least to me. I would not own a Glock until I found the SF versions of the large frame and the Gen 4 versions of the regular frame.

The G30S is a special winner, as it has the slim slide of the Glock 36 but the double-stack frame of the G30 SF. I consider it a great gun and wish they would also make a slim slide version of the G29.

Considering your forum name, I'm sure you understand this ancient Roman-Latin saying:

The G41 is a gen 4. There is no Gen 4 Glock 30S yet.... I'm eagerly awaiting their release.

I heard from a little birdie that sits in southern US that we should expect to see them at SHOT in January. *fingers crossed*

For what it's worth, that same little birdie also told me not to expect the single stack 9mm to be announced at SHOT, as many people have been spreading around. Could be right, could be wrong. We'll know in a little over a month, I suppose.
