This is fun - worst movie/actor?

Battler, ditto on Dolomite, but the sequel was worse, so bad I had to get them on tape.
Andy Sidaris ad nauseum...
Mercenary Fighters, godawful
The Avenging Disco Godfather
Spy Hard
any Dolph Lundgran movie
and that horrible Brian Bosworth flick
anyone know where I can get Megaforce on tape?

Heck, I can top the whole previous discussion. I nominate all films ever made by Golan-Globus Productions. I don't know how, but they are consistently awful. They must have a special school for directors, because even random outcomes would occaisionally produce a decent flick.

For the "so bad it's funny" award, I'll nominate "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes."

Biggest disappointment; the 2nd Batman movie. Made absolutely no sense. The whole gist of the movie, as far as I could tell, was to have Michelle Pfeiffer in that outfit. Idiotic plot. i really liked the first one, Jack as the Joker was great.

Thinnest plot; how about "Outland" starring Sean Connery? John Woo could have covered that story line in about 15 minutes, and have time left over for Jackie Chan to open up two fresh cans of whoop-ass.

Commando had one saving grace; Rae Dawn Chong.

Actor with the least range; Seagal, hands down. At least John Wayne wore different outfits in different movies.

Perhaps we ought to have an annual "TFL Reader's Choice Awards." We have several good candidates for the Lifetime Lack Of Achievement Award (Norris, Seagal, ...).

Really bad movies:
"The Sixth Sense", (Bruce Willis) good only if you have trouble falling asleep. Massively over-rated.
"Zardoz", (Sean Connery!) a weird thing with auras and great big levitating stone heads.
"Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze" (Ron Ely) based on old pulp magazines, most of the sound track was John Philip Sousa, even in the jungle scenes!
And any of dozens of chop-sockie kung fu movies with badly dubbed English!

So bad they're good:
"Caveman" (Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, Shelly Long)
"The Valley of Gwangi", (Gila Golan, James Franciscus) a cowboy and gypsy dinosaur movie.

You guys are tough! I thought Above the Law was great! Right on the Keaneu Reeves bit! That is a bad actor.
I thought Unforgiven was a great character study. As for bad----
Agreed on Cobra,
Xanadu,Siesta,Grease 2,Caddyshack 2

I am just glad you guys left out my personal favorite-- The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. I have seen it dozens of times and still laugh!

Most movies blow chunks... 9 out of 10 at any block busters - okay, I'm being generous there...

BUT HOLD THE BOAT!
Desperado featured SALMA!
Any movie that has Salma in it gets 5 additional cool points...
And Salma's role in this flick? YEAH!!!! This movie is a 10!

A couple of comments
1) Steven Segal - I guess I have some loyalty to the guy, he got me interested in Aikido - so I will give my approval to Above the law and Marked for Death. Above the Law director knew how to use a bad actor well :D.
2) Hank B Cheap chop - sockie kung fu flicks RULE!!!!!!!!! ( So bad they're GREAT!!!)
take care all

Anybody ever see the "Tarzan" remake with Bo Derek? Alright, it had Bo but the rest of it was soooooo bad! Richard Harris was in it and I'm sure that he had his character killed off when he saw how awful the movie was gonna be. And the poor guy who played Tarzan, that was finito to his acting career, I don't think I've ever seen him again.

great stuff! I didn't know there were so many bad movie coinisseurs out there....

I'm really surprised nobody had brought up Gymkata yet. Anyone other than me seen it? Or am I the only one who came in drunk and watched WGN's "late night masterpieces" like Lair of the White Worm and Curse of the Snake Woman?

hehe....

Okay, I'll drag some real stinkers out of the obscure closet....

How about "Ssssss"? Anybody remember that?
or "Anaconda"? Big snakes on steroids. A classic.
Or this really bad one I saw when a Braves game got rained out, I think it was called "worms" or something - basically, there was an electrical storm, the worms got zapped and started biting people. With a plot like that, it's got to be a classic.

Big budget stinkers, Cobra has got to be near the top.
