Thinnest grip double stack 9

I'm not willing to buy a Taurus I don't know.
Anyone know how the CZ 75 RAMI BD compares to the other CZ variants/derivatives mentioned above?
Found a post on another forum caliming 1.25 at widest point, but that seeems extreme.

What about an XD?

I have short sausage fingers, and I look for "small" grips myself. One thing I have noticed it that the grip circumference has a lot to do with how comfortable it feels to me. So it is really a combination of the grip width and the grip depth (side to side as well as front to back measurements.)

The double-stacks that feel the best to me so far are the CZ's, the Ruger SR's and also the SA XD. I do not know how the grip width of the XD compares to the SR, but I think they are shorter front-to-back, which helps it to feel slim.

Maybe it is just me but, the M&P with the small grip insert was really nice. It was comparable to the SR9 and the FNS 9. A Glock 19 Gen 4 can get really slim too. I forget the Model of the CZ but, it was probably the thinnest. There are lots of choices in a lot of great guns. My favorite is probably the Ruger or the FNS. But dang it man, that Glock 19 was SWEET. Look at a bunch. And, buy what you want. A pistol is a lifelong investment that really never looses it's value. God Bless

Thinnest I have seen was the new Sig P320 Subcompact. Its 1911 thin. It fits in most of my S&W Shield holsters and that is a thin single stack.

this is the thinnest.

Browning here in the states BDA

Two thinnest feeling double stacks I've handled are the CZ P-07 and Ruger SR9c (or full size I'm sure). Even with VZ slip grips my Hi Power feels significantly thicker than either of these.

Physical measurements often don't tell the tale as to how thin the gun's feel, at least IMO.

Got my hands on a CZp07 since this thread quieted down.
I really liked it. It was a great pistol.
It didn't fit my hands well at all.
It was the only CZ available to me for use. I am left wondering if the other models vary in grip except for length.
Definitely planning to get an older Kadet for the range though.

Been thinking about options like Browning BDA or CZ 100. I would really like to have something more mainstream for my carry gun.

Get your hands on a CZ 75 (FS or compact) with a set of VZ grips. That's about as thin as anyone would want.

Another vote for the Browning Hi-Power. It just doesn't feel like a double-stack pistol. The CZ 75B isn't bad either with the right grips.

Ruger 9E very similar in feel to 1911. Has a reversible backstrap (flat/arched)

The S&W M&P9 is a bit larger but feels very good in the hand and has 3 interchangeable backstrap inserts. My son has relatively small hands but actually prefers the medium size.
