Thinnest grip double stack 9

What are the candidates?
To be clear, the slide or controls sticking out is not a concern. I would just like to look at slimmest grip. For instance, Glocks are pretty close to most other brands on the official size charts, but the grips are just as wide as the slide, so many have much thinner grips. Browning BDM seems to be the thinnest.

How about compacts?

I don't know about actual measurements but the SR9 feels awful thin. My P-07 has a thinner grip and the SR9 feels noticeably thinner.

Witness is the same gun [as the B6P], older and cheaper. My Witness .45 is thinner than my P-07 ever so slightly... 3 different polymer CZ-75 variants all in one string.
I'll make it 4. :) The new EAA Witness Pavona feels thinner to me than the standard Witness Poly, and EAA ad copy suggests this as well, although I'm not certain it's true because I haven't seen actual measurements or compared the pistols side-by-side.

The pistol with the smallest, thinnest grip that I own is my CZ 100 (9mm, 13 rds). Though it never caught on and has long since been out of production, it's a nice little compact package, nearly identical in size to the Glock 19. My SR9C has a very thin and narrow grip as well. I just can't measure it right now....

Interesting to think about thinnest 9mm doublestack, I personally have such large hands I prefer larger so I've never thought about it.

My p11 from Keltec has a pretty darn narrow grip that's for sure.

Pavona is still the P-S frame, but the slide is tapered up rather than square. Not thinner overall, it might be shorter slightly due to the reduced weight slide. I didn't mention it since they didn't seem to make even one without girl colors or sparkles. If I had a P-S frame, I'd buy a Pavona slide to make the gun the OP is asking for..... Going through the thread, lots of CZ and most are 75 variants. Pavona is a great looking gun and I have almost bought the black with sparkles more than once. I think as far as double stack 9, only CPX is smaller.

An interesting (but perhaps unfair?) requirement of a doublestack 9mm.
Maybe, but I'm not expecting it to be as slim as a single stack.
I've been carrying a sub-compact Glock for almost ten years. 26, then 27, then 27 with lonewolf barrel. I've tried a few, but none were enough better to justify buying new mags, holsters, spending money to train, etc.
I know from my Kahr a thinner grip would fit my hand better. I really want to stick with a double stack even if it doesn't fit perfect. I thought maybe if I found a thinner one it would push me to make a leap.
I have a strong preference for pistols without traditional safeties, like Kahr and Glock, but I will have to check out a few of those suggested.

CZ 75 BD RAMI? I've wanted a CZ for a long while. Maybe a PCR.

My Taurus PT111 is pretty darn thin in the grip. I'm honestly amazed it is double stack and not single.

Here's a pic from another forum comparing the PT111 and a G26. The PT111 is an older generation but pretty sure the grip is still the same size.

And the PT111 has a manual safety, but with the long trigger pull I don't think you'd have an issue carrying it with the safety off. Best of all, you can pick it up for around $200 right now so if you decide you aren't a huge fan, minimal initial investment.

I have to second the PT111. In the picture below, you can see that it measures just 1 1/32" across the middle of the magwell. This is my G2, so I don't know if that measurement holds true for the older models. If the specs listed on the S&W website are correct, that means the PT111 G2 is only .08" wider than the Shield.

The same measurement on my P-07 shows that it comes in at 1 1/8", which is still pretty darn respectable for a double stack.

Put next to each other, the visual difference seems much larger than the actual difference, IMO.
