Thinking of saying bye bye to this one.

IMO "never sell a rifle" is a silly attitude. If a rifle doesn't turn out as good as I hoped for, or doesn't really serve a purpose in my collection, down the road it'll go. As my tastes and wants evolve I'll continue to trade and of sell rifles and other firearms to get what I want.

Sometimes rifles are just built to be shared with other riflemen. And if he hadn't sold it I would have never got to shoot that incredible shooting rifle.......its really really cool man!:D:D:D:D

+1

When I look in my safe at the rifles I almost sold, think about the price I almost sold them for, and think about what I could sell them for today; it aint so silly.;)

Pretty pointless arguing this point, as the rifles already in the hands of Hooligan1. My wife got a Ruger LCR .357 and a 20ga M870 and I got a 1930's Mauser .22 lr and a M700 ADL .223. I don't see a real down side to selling the .243 to Hooligan as he got what he wanted and I got a few new toys. Plus my wife is getting more involved in shooting outside of personal protection. I pretty much see it as a win-win situation.

I wont be packig that dude anywhere but the range. And I feel like the deal was too sweet to pass.....you guys had every chance to pick the rifle up, and by the way Taylorce1, where's the bipod? Just kiddin I wont use it anyway..

Anytime you guys come to KC, look me up and lets go shoot that dude..

That was sweeeet! I could have shot that dude all day! :D

--edit: Add target

Here's what I did @ 100 yards. The flyer was my first shot trying to get my big ass earmuffs around the stock. The other four are not too bad, especially considering the shooter and with the high winds that day.

Yep, it's so heavy you'll run out of several hundred rounds before you get tired in the shoulder. Probably get a cramp in your trigger finger first! With that long tube noise isn't bad either.

I don't use muffs shot in rifles, even low profile ones get in the way. Ear us all the way for me. Nice shooting, trust me you'll get even better behind that rifle.
