So, the Puritans who fled England because of persecution, who went to Holland (the closest safe country) and then traveled thousands of miles to an alien culture (the New World), not going to those parts claimed by Spain or France (country shopping) were not real refugees???

When you and your family are at risk of being killed where you live, you go somewhere else if you can. IF you can. If you stop in the first place where no one is trying to kill you, are you required to stay there??

If you have the ability to get to the place you think is the best place to live (now), why wouldn't you go? And why should you be stopped from doing that??

Comply with all the rules, laws and regulations, sure. Nothing less is ethical.
 
Question about refugees...

I was curious if anyone knew what kind of screening/ security refugees go through to get into the U.S. It would be a huge risk to let in people into the U.S. without knowing who they are. Hopefully the refugees go through, at a minimum, the screening people in the U.S. go through to buy a gun from a FFL :)
 
pond - they are not coming from syria they are coming from other places like Turkey. Yeah they are country shopping going to best welfare countries like Sweden and Germany. Why are they not going to nearest mother country of Saudi Arabia and other rich states where even cops drive bugattis? yeah don't get into discussion because they likely are not coming to tiny estonia

There was no government here at that time and Indian never claimed the land. real refugees stay in closest safe country its an organized planned invasion why should be stopped ? because there are laws and you cant move to a country if people don't want you you cant just walk uninvited

I'm not getting into a discussion because
a) refugees are unrelated to the OP (believe me, they are)
b) they are unrelated to firearms as a whole and
c)in my experience anyone who starts a discussion with such a loaded question is not interested in "discussing" anything.

So, again, please let's leave it.
 
you cannot discuss it because you have no logical arguments and no invader is coming to your country Estonia. Merkel is not standing on borders and handling the invaders. Other people are. And free welfare money for invaders is not coming directly out of her pockets but from common people. Let us leave it at that.
