Before heading out to shoot your match, you have to make sure that you gun is sighted in correctly for the distances that you'll be shooting at which is common for practical pistol competitions. This time, he guides us through the intricate process of measuring, cutting and fitting a Bomar-style Dawson Adjustable rear sight on a Kimber 1911 Custom TLE/RL II. As you will see from the video, it is not as simple as taking a file to the slide and sight.

If you've been shooting IDPA or USPSA for a while now, you must be used to this command. It's typically given at the end of your run in a stage to ensure that the gun is unloaded and cleared. Episode 101 - Match DQs (Part One)
The boys are back together for a two part episode on Match Disqualifications. The shooting sport is divided into two groups, those that have been DQed and those that will be. It is something that happens very rarely but when it does, can cause a person so much grief. was surprised to see this thread this morning. I just recently became re interested in IDPA and found the show on my own last night. Found it by searching for articles on the 22 for training idea, episode 22 or 23 if memory serves. Now I have bookmarked the entire utube series
