The first time you held the pistol you have always wanted...

Beretta 92FS was so cool in all the movies growing up. Loved the look. First gun I bought and I really like it.

Wow, how many of us are there?

92FS as well - Went to a show not knowing what I wanted...saw it on a table an hour before closing...had nothing to do with love at first sight, it was most definitely lust:D

A Belgium manufactured Browning 7.62 auto that my father took of a German officer near Dachau. Holster and belt.
He gave it to me before he passed away. I was a happy camper!

Up until 4 months ago I never had that "dream" gun that I had to have....... that is until I picked a Sig Scorpion Carry 1911.

I will own one. :D

I bought my first 1911 in 1984, three years before Lethal Weapon came out. It was cool in the movie and a wonernine with a bottomless mag, what's not to like?

Off to the gunshow to get my hands on one! It wasn't hard to find , they were everywhere. I didn't like it. I was used to my 1911 and the 92 felt very odd in my hands. I didn't the trigger bar being on the outside of the weapon. I didn't like the sights. When the weapon was cocked, I could easily drop the hammer with trigger bar manipulation, which probably means it isn't drop safe.

Even if it is, it just didn't appeal to me overall. I am much happier with my 1911 and still have it.

I would have to say it was a 4" Colt Diamondback 22 for me. I think my hands shook and my pupils dialated the first time I ever handled one. I wanted one BAD.

The first time I got my hands on a CZ it went home with me....a Compact 75....and now I've added THE pistol I've always wanted, a CZ 2075 Rami 9mm in alloy. After approx 500rds thru each, I'm still singing their praises!
