The best looking polymer 9mm pistol ever made is...

I can't say any polymer pistol is especially good looking, though some are uglier than others I guess. The PX4 is a funny looking gun although not bad in normal and compact sizes. The PX4 subcompact is possibly the ugliest polymer gun I've seen.

None of these will win any beauty contests, but I actually think the new 2.0 M&P is a pretty good looking gun. It doesn't have the blocky, "I was carved from a brick" look of the Glock and XD guns. It looks like a serious tool.

I actually think my Walther PPQ Q5 Match is a decent looking gun! The longer barrel and the slide cuts kinda spruce it up a bit.

I have a Q5 Match also. I think it looks great!

Only part polymer(the grips), the Remington R51 is a beautiful sleek pistol with flowing futuristic lines.

I don't own one but I would consider it.

I think HK runs this category, and while I agree the USP is a fine looker I think the Mk.23 is even more impressive. 45acp is the best at everything, even looks!

Ed: whoops, I thought we were just talking best polymer period and missed the 9mm... I feel silly!

Of course, this whole thread is subjective, but I really like the Ruger SR9's clean lines. No. I don't own one.

BTW, does anyone else think the PPQ looks a lot like a Hi Point?

not the PPQ. Which is sad but true.

Which is interesting, as the pistol it is a variant of - the Walther P99 - is quite aesthetically pleasing.

It seems like many of the aesthetic changes to the PPQ were geared solely to make it look less svelte and more brutish/ugly.

For example, the forward serrations of the PPQ work no better than the mush more elegant slide bevel of the P99 for press checks, the PPQ "paisley" grip texture provides little, if any, more purchase than the Morini-designed P99 grip, the PPQ Walther banner placement is a silly afterthought, and the font used elsewhere is atrocious.

Press checks? The Glock 19 has the protrusion on the extractor claw! Stands proud, you have no need for any more proof of a chambered round than that.

Had a Buddy in Canada, George Housner, lost the tip of a finger, in Cape Town, press checking a 1911!

Glocks the best looking, it is true only if there were no other guns in the world then yes Glock would be the best looking gun (; >)

None...is the correct answer....geez...

( Life is too short for ugly poly guns...) ...go stainless Steel baby !! ...

so i am a bit late to the conversation, but after being a glock guy for a long time, i've recently picked up a HK P30L and VP9 and wow they are sexy AF...

I think that the Grand Power K100 and variants have a certain visual appeal.

I personally think the PPQ is decent looking as far as polymer pistols go. IMO HK makes some of the better looking poly pistols but looks are very subjective.
Right on! My thoughts exactly (especially regarding the PPQ).
I'd nominate my G17, but I know that it is one of the ugliest pistols ever made.
Don't worry. For Glocks, there is a mantra you can memorize:
I didn't buy my Glock <your model here> gen4 to win a beauty contest.
Let's see, Glock rhymes with "block". Coincidence?

I'm glad we have these just-for-fun threads once in a while! :)

Another vote for the CZ SP01 Phantom.
But honestly this is like a beauty contest at a pig farm. None of them are really very pretty compared to a revolver or 1911.
