The best "cheap" holster you have ever found?

With the price of some holsters these days it really is easy to pay way too much for a holster.

What is the best holster you have ever found that combines being very inexpensive yet is still high quality and works well? Is it leather or another material?

I would have to say that I have found the leather Don Hume "J.I.T. Slide" holster to be the one that fits the bill for me. Super inexpensive ($20 locally) yet high quality and comfortable. I have a bunch for different guns in different colors.

I would have to agree with the Done Hume holster as best "cheap" holster. I have found his holsters to be very high quality at an amazingly affordable price. I have several.

Don Hume has always offered excellent holsters at more than fair prices.

For a next-to-nothing usable IWB, Uncle Mike's is hard to beat. I've been using their Size 16 with a Glock 23 for a couple of weeks, and it works & carries much better than I'd expected.

Uncle Mike's Mirage pancake holster. A value at retail, I got mine barely used for $10.00. Shows no sign of wear after 2 years of regular CCW

Yes the JIT is a great holster and a great value as I've fornd most of Don Hume's holsters to be.try their P.C.C.H. IWB holster one of the most comfortable I've found.
I also like the Bianchi pro100 line IWB

Best Cheap holster

........two months ago in the used holster barrel at a local shop...an Alessi for $14! Other than that windfall, I like DM Bullard leather for holsters and especially belts. I think the belts are the "deal of the century" for $60.

I go a cheap, leather, IWB cover with a pants clip on ebay...protects the trigger adequately and is light and thin. Why would someone want to buy a bulky/big expensive holster? This is perfect for me.

I have bought & used 5 different Mika pocket holsters for four handguns. Two for a Beretta 21a, front & rear pocket, two for S&W J frame snubbys, front pocket (also fits small frame Taurus) and one rear pocket for my Seecamp .32. All of them have been ruggedly built, comfortable, do not print and are of excellent quality. All have been in service over 2 years, the Seecamp one every work day for 2 1/2 years & still working just fine & never been noticed by anyone at the work place (office environ)
They are made of some synthetic material with lateral gripping ribs on the outside to retain the holster in your pocket.
They work, they last, they are not expensive, they don't come out with the handgun. They are not pretty or classy. They sure do work though.

I just bought the Fobus paddle for my GLOCK 30 SF for 20 bucks.Perfect comfort for all day carry and perfect angle for quick draws.Beats my leather belt side Dasantis thumb break for a glock 19 hands down by price, comfort and quick access.

I know this isn't what you were talking about, but I have pretty much given up on all but pocket carry. After really a lot of experimentation, I've decided the BEST pocket holster is also about the cheapest; the Desantis Nemesis.

Im lookin for a cheap cowboy holster for my ruger single six. so far the best one I found is on the heritage web sight. anyone know of any other sights?:)

I have two Don Hume IWB slide holsters that are by far two of my most frequently used. I bought them for my two 1911's. One is a full size, and one officer size. I also have more expensive Galco OWB holsters, but I use the cheaper ($20 to $30) Don Hume IWB holsters more often.
