The Best 9mm pistol?

Smith & Wesson Model 39-2, with a Hi-Power in close second.

It really depends on which one I'm shooting/handling at the time.

That Wilson combat CQB I've shot at the range sure is nice. But a Sig p229/226 or my M&P.

Also, have you people never had Bluebell homemade vanilla?!

Ones I own;
BHP, CZ 75B, HK P30 (V3), Glock Gen3 17 & 19, Sig P228, Sig P6, Sig M11-A1, Walther PPS-M2, STI Trojan 9mm 1911

Ones that I wished I owned;
Wilson Combat Professional 1911, Sig Legion P226 SAO, Wilson Combat Beretta Brig-Tac 92G, HK P2000 V2 LEM trigger variant.

Just as soon as I'm done trying all of them, I'll let you know.....

The Beretta 92 is what I think of when I think of 9mm pistols.

...in your opinion, what is the very best 9mm pistol?....

T/C Contender! :D

It's light, the 6" barrel (I have) is handy, great trigger, it's the most accurate 9mm pistol I've ever seen, and it never jams! :p:rolleyes:

or

A P.08. its the original 9mm Luger, a classic. It doesn't get any more 9mm than that. :rolleyes::D

Agree 100%!

Over the years lots came and went, some arguably better, but, the P.08 - with it' instantly recognizable silhouette - is the definitive 9mm

The most reliable would be the Glock 17/19.
The most accurate would be the Sig 210.
The most appealing to the eye would be the Browning Hi-Power.

Just this guy's opinions.

Of the ones I own, it is the Sig P226 (Tysons Corner) and a Beretta 92FS (Inox).

This statement may sound strange to most of you. I have an old well worn Norinco 213 single stack that simply shoots great and feels wonderful in one's hand. It does not have the beauty or the quality look of the Sig or Beretta. It is kind of like the Energizer Bunny in quaility.

So, "The Best" is a funny kind of lingo. It requires a few additional clarifiers and descriptives. ;)

I've owned one or more examples of most of the major manufacturer's 9MMs. For you, "The Best" is the one that pleases you most. For me, likely something else. I would suggest choosing higher quality over additional "features."
