Taurus must have a complex...

I have drank the Glock Kool Aid and havent had any problems now my Girlfriend on the other hand has a Taurus PT140 .40 Cal its an ok gun but the trigger sucks its horrible I find it very scary when pulling the trigger all the way back almost to the back of the trigger guard before it fires looking at getting her a sprinfield xdm sub compact or a glock 27

More Glock kool-aid.
I have never owned a Glock though I have shot them many times (friends&family). However, I must say that I use Glock magazines in my Kel-Tec carbines and they have to be among the most durable mags I have ever seen. I have never replaced a sping and I have even abused a couple just to see and they feed like I just bought them. Just an OT observation.

The thing I like most about Dan Wesson 1911's is thier clean look, hardly any markings on the slide. Just stainless. Small classy letters on one side and thats it.

I always thought the taurus 1911 looked ridiculous.

I've actually don't have anything against the Glock, I've owned 3 of them. All 3 were completely reliable and fairly accurate, I just don't care for the grip angle when point shooting. I just find it funny that there are still those who will come onto a thread, no matter what the subject, and shrill "Just buy a Glock".
I've loved the 3 Taurus PT's I've owned (2 PT145's and a PT745) but I've come to the conclusion that at this point in my life I refuse to pick up any more brass. Si now I carry a Taurus 650, as does my wife, and haven't had any issues with them either, but the writing thing never really bothered me. The preamble on the Rugers is another issue entirely...
