I sure Hope you feel better, I was in a motorcycle accident in 1987, a drunk driver crossed over in my lane on a two way road, I know it is tough to sit still and heal, but you have to just sit back, and let your body mend back together.

Sorry to hear about the wreck. God knows I've barely avoided my share while riding in Atlanta traffic.
Hope you heal soon and don't have to endure too much pain.

Didn't see this thread til now, but wanted to tell you that I am so sorry you've got to go thru this. Nevertheless, I know you can make it thru this, you seem pretty tough!
I had a friend who,about 2 years ago was almost killed by a moron driving on the wrong side of the road. EVERY major bone in her body was broken, she had like 6 screws in each hip holding the joints together. BUT, with a lot of prayers, and many many surgeries later, she survived and is still with us today. Godspeed!
PS-Go after that scumbag for all he's worth! And everyone else is right, don't be afraid to ask for pain meds. I had surgery recently and existed in a Lortab/Demerol-induced haze for several days w/o any shame.
